PEBL GRANTS POT
Individuals or community groups can apply for a grant to help them run a new local project which will benefit Prospect Estate residents.
What is PEBL?
PEBL stands for ‘Prospect Estate Big Local’. In 2012 the Prospect Estate was awarded £1M by Big Local Big Lottery fund to be spent over a 10 year period to make a difference
to the estate.
This is an exciting opportunity for residents to make a lasting positive difference. It’s about bringing together all the local talent, ambitions, skills and energy from individuals, groups and organisations who want to make the Prospect Estate an even better place to live.
“In 10 years’ time, Prospect Estate will be a welcoming, safe, thriving community where individual strengths are recognised; people are actively involved and are proud to live.”
HOW CAN I HELP?
Here's a map of the PEBL area! It includes five schools, four sports clubs, two community centres, a local shop and post office and even a scouts hut! There are around 2,000 houses on the Prospect Estate, just think what could happen if we all connected to see the PEBL vision realised!
There are 150 Big Local areas around England who have been awarded £1m each. Big Local is being run by Local Trust, which is working with the Big Lottery Fund and a range of partners providing expert advice and support for residents.
