PEBL Volunteer Chris Jacobs has just improved his confidence, learned new skills, enjoyed a residential week and even gained a qualification by taking part in the Princes Trust Team programme.
The Princes Trust Team programme is a 12-week self-development course designed to help young unemployed adults. The course includes community projects, job searching skills, money management advice and useful life skills such as first aid and work experience.
Chris gained a Princes Trust Level 1 Certificate in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills. The Course was held at Rushmoor Fire Station and jointly run with the Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service.
Chris explained that while the course has made him more confident and increased his teamwork and leadership skills, he also now feels better equipped to pursue his chosen career in the competitive world of the computer games industry.
The PEBL team greatly appreciate all of Chris’ valuable volunteer support and wish him every success in his future.
