PEBL enjoyed helping at the Cove Brook Green Way litter pick on Saturday. There were over 20 volunteers from the local area and it was great to see people all working together. Lots of litter was collected and Joy Cross provided tasty home-made fruit cake, cupcakes and tea to keep everybody going. Cove Brook Greenway welcomes everyone to join its regular working parties to help collect litter, cut back brambles and create and maintain footpaths. They also work with young people to show them what lives in and around the Brook and have quarterly talks with a guest speaker on issues relevant to the local area and its environment.
