PEBL enjoyed attending a number of school summer fayres just prior to the summer break to meet local children and their parents and update residents on what we are up to and how all can be involved. They were great opportunities to promote our weekly PEBL skills café, PEBL’s internet café and the excellent free money advice service that are available free of charge to local residents.
The PEBL team gave away a whole bunch of PEBL freebies at the schools to very appreciative children, including running a free prize draw to win a free brand new bike (kindly sponsored by Silvester Bros opposite Cove Green), which was won by one extremely grateful pupil from St Bernadettes- Millie-Jo Prosser.
A BIG PEBL thank you to all parents, staff and pupils at St Bernadette’s, Cherrywood Infants and Grange Junior School for making us so welcome and supporting Prospect Estate Big Local in helping local residents make the Prospect Estate a great place to live.
