In addition to our installing two new pieces of equipment – we have also made some more subtle but no less important ‘additions’ to the children’s playground in Water Lane. The Playground has significantly aged over the years since it was installed and has been in urgent need of updating. However, there are no plans (or funds) for this to be done by the local council. Therefore, as local families still use and rely on this ‘tired’ playground and have voiced a communal desire to see it updated for local children, we are very pleased to have changed some of the key parts (as pictured) to ensure not only the continued safety of the equipment but also its longevity for the community.
